- Ability to provide consultation to and work with other staff, agencies and professionals in the provision of services to children and their families.
- Able to efficiently arrange, coordinate, and transport children and/or their families to various appointments.
- Ability to Schedule casual workers, when necessary, and verify that all hours entered as worked by casual staff matches the hours scheduled for the purpose of generation of payroll.
- Must be able to work in a team setting as well as independently.
- Capable of maintaining Agency owned/leased vehicles on a regular basis.
- Thorough knowledge of agency policies and procedures.
- Must possess a High School Graduation Diploma with minimum one year of experience working with children and adults, preferably in a social or human services setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, good judgement, and the skill and ability to engage therapeutically with all clients.
- Proficient in computer software applications including Microsoft Office and database programs.
Required:
- Must possess a valid Class G Ontario Driver's Licence and have access to a reliable vehicle with OPCF6A Insurance endorsement and minimum of $1000 000.00 Liability.
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector check, Internal Records Check and Driver's Abstract.
- The ability to work flexible hours. Occasional travel within the region is also required.
