Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fireplace Installer to join our team at The Fireplace Store by Leduc Chimney Sweep. This position involves installing and maintaining various types of fireplaces and stoves, ensuring safety and satisfaction for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and construction.

Responsibilities

• Install wood, gas, electric and pellet fireplaces, inserts, stoves, and venting systems according to manufacturer specifications and safety codes.
• Perform site assessments to determine proper placement, ventilation, and installation requirements.
• Safely operate hand and power tools during framing, venting, and finishing work.
• Work closely with customers to explain the installation process, answer questions, and provide maintenance tips.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, both during and after installations.
• Collaborate with team members or contractors to complete projects on time and to company standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in fireplace, HVAC, or construction installation preferred
• Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
• Familiarity with hand tools and their proper usage
• Basic knowledge of safety regulations related to fireplace installation
• Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and in tight spaces
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and complete any required training or certifications
• Contract, On call and Part time opportunity available.

MUST HAVE : Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Pay: Starting $22.00 per hour (negotiable as per the experience)

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay, STAT

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call, Full time, part time or contract (options available)
