Summary:
A Service Advisor connects customers with the service department in a dealership or repair shop. They assess vehicle concerns, suggest repairs, and coordinate with technicians. The role requires strong communication, automotive expertise, and excellent customer service.
Major Responsibilities:
Answering incoming phone calls and inquiries related to vehicle servicing.
Consulting with automotive technicians regarding required repairs and or maintenance work and providing repair options to our clients.
Determining and recommending maintenance based on age, mileage and history of a vehicle.
Scheduling service and repair appointments.
Acting as liaison between customers and technicians and managing the status of work orders.
Operating computerized work order systems.
Monitoring the progress of each vehicle throughout the day and updating customers.
Communicating with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Explaining all completed work and charges to customers.
Other duties as assigned by manager
