Our clients include industry-leading organizations that partner with us to be an extension of their HR & Recruitment function.Position: Packaging SupervisorLocation: Toronto, ON Salary: $24 - $28 per hour + Shift PremiumIndustry: Manufacturing / Packaging / Food / ProductionEmployment Term: Full Time / Temp - to - PermShift: Rotating Days, Afternoons, Evenings Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supervising the Packaging Department.
- Work collaboratively with the Management Shift Supervisor, Lead Hands to meet daily KPIs.
- Perform production reports.
- Assist in recruiting, selecting, training, and mentoring employees.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Additional related Supervisory Packaging duties as assigned.
- Post-secondary education is an asset
- 5 years of related supervisory experience in the bakery/food industry.
- Proven leadership ability, managing and motivating a team
- Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and general food safety production.
- Able to report days, afternoons, nights, shifts as needed.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
