Territory Manager - Canadian Market Responsibilities:
- Assist in establishing new business opportunities
- Spearhead sales strategies, cultivate customer relationships, and drive revenue growth within the Canadian Market
- Disseminate qualified prospects to the sales team
- Assist with planning marketing efforts, executing strategies, and documenting results
- Maintain records of all interactions with qualified prospects and communicate with the sales team
- Problem-solve as challenges arise
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales teams
- Assist engineers in design, prototyping, assembly, and fabrication of new and existing products
Territory Manager - Canada Qualifications:
- Air seeder experience is required (focused on John Deere, CNH, and Bourgault - disk drills)
- Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate information about the company in a positive manner to prospective clients
- Ability to build strong, influential relationships, maintain confidentiality, and exhibit professional composure
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective time management skills
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to quickly adapt to change and work with diverse customers
- Experience and technical knowledge of equipment
- Must be able to work in the U.S. for 2 months during training; lodging will be provided
- Valid driver's license and clear driving record
- Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical engineering documents and drawings
- Comfortable using a computer for various tasks
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, work hard, and handle uncertainty
- Physically strong, agile, and dexterous; ability to lift at least 40 lbs
- Ability to travel 60% of the time
- Strong work ethic, integrity, moral character, and initiative
- Farming or mechanical background and/or experience in the farming industry
