Job Title: Delivery Drivers (4 Positions)
Location: Burnaby & Surrey, BC
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: $25-28/hour

Our client in Burnaby & Surrey, BC is actively looking for Delivery Drivers to join their team.
Position Description:

• The delivery driver staff are responsible for delivering orders and products to customers on a daily basis.
• They are responsible for driving to and from the pickup location to the destination, delivering goods/products and collecting the payment.
• Drivers must ensure that they have the correct names and addresses of customers, and stay in contact with dispatchers for additional pick-ups.
• They will be helping in loading and unloading merchandise from the truck.
• It is their duty to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery vehicle and to ensure the safe delivery of the product without any delay or damage.
• Delivery Driver's are also responsible for any other duties assigned to them by management.

Major Responsibilities:

• Pick-up and deliver various items and products
• Load and unload goods from the truck
• Use maps and other trip planning aids
• Perform pre-trip inspection of the vehicle
• Record trip information i.e., vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues
• Loading and unloading of truck
• Must be helping in the warehouse if and when needed
• Responsible for carrying out assigned housekeeping tasks
• Responsible for carrying out any other duties assigned by management

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid G license
• Clean driver's abstract and CVOR
• Experience driving a 3-ton
• Responsible and reliable
• Excellent time-management skills
• Money-handling skills
• Customer service oriented
• Accuracy in following instructions
• Excellent communication
