WHAT DOES A PARTS MANAGER DO?

As part of the parts team, the Parts Manager is responsible for the efficient management and direction of all aspects of the parts department operations in a professional manner which ensures maximum profitability for the dealership. Coordinate activities and cooperate with all departments to best serve the needs of the client.

  • Manage all aspects of the training, performance management and strategy for ongoing learning of parts personnel
  • Merchandise and advertise effectively and within budget
  • Proactively pursue parts sales inside and outside the dealership. Create a monthly sales action plan and document efforts
  • Maximize gross margin dollars for the department
  • Ensure high level of client satisfaction by maintaining top quality service
  • And so much more!

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO US?

  • 5+ years in a leadership role would be an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety requirements
  • Customer service in a sales and service capacity/environment
  • Basic knowledge of financial statements and creation of annual budgets
  • Strong Computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, web browsing
  • Ability to travel 2-3 times per year to Company and Vendor Training sessions
  • Valid driver's license with a clean abstract
