Your Opportunity!

Reporting to the Crew Leader, the General Labourer will be responsible for working alongside their team to carry out the various steps required in the installation of Hollowford Fencing's quality residential/agricultural/equine fencing, decks, gazebos, sheds, and more. These steps include, but are not limited to, preparation/set-up, installation, and clean up.

Key Responsibilities and Skills:

• Handling and transporting job materials
• Install residential/agricultural/equine fencing, decks, gazebos, sheds, and more
• Operate a mini-excavator and/or skid steer where required
• Clean-up job sites to ensure that they are free of waste and debris daily and/or upon job completion • Work in accordance with applicable health and safety standards and guidelines
• Use and maintain company tools and equipment in a respectful manner
• Other duties, as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of construction experience
• Fencing/deck/gazebo/shed installation experience an asset
• A valid G-class license and a clean driver's abstract
• Access to a reliable vehicle
• Confident with the use of power tools
• Familiarity with job materials (I.e., cedar, pressure-treated, ornamental iron, chain-link, etc.) • The ability to:
• Effectively maneuver and pull a trailer
• work long hours (on occasion) in different climates
• repeatedly lift 60LBS
• work as part of a team
• work with a high attention to detail and level of alertness
• Strong customer service skills, punctuality, reliability
