Position: Service Advisor - 5-day work week Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Greet each customer in a prompt, courteous manner
  • Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problems, and time required.
  • Schedule appointments using dealership booking system
  • Handle minor customer concerns
  • Follow up progress of each repair order during the day, contact customers by telephone or text message regarding changes in the estimate or time promised
  • Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process and appointments and return phone messages promptly
  • Review work performed with customers
  • Interpret warranty information and policies to customers
  • Stay up to date on technical and performance information on all vehicles serviced by the dealership
  • Assist the service manager as necessary
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Computer proficient
  • Strong work ethic and team player
  • Flexible to work retail business hours including Saturdays
  • Professional, dependable, reliable and a commitment to provide excellent customer service
  • A valid driver's license
  • Experience with CDK & PBS software is considered an asset.
