Job Summary
We are seeking a tech savvy, multifaceted, administratively trained super star to join our Admin team in the role of Accounting Administrator.
Reporting to the Director of HR & Firm Management and working in direct contact with the Partners and Accounting Managers, the Accounting Administrator will be responsible for maintaining a variety of systems, most notably, the Client Services Management system, including its reporting functions, and ensuring accuracy in the integrity of its management. The Accounting Administrator will also be responsible for overseeing the internal technology, including the maintenance and updates of various software. The ideal candidate possesses a high level of attention to detail, an administrative and accounting background, and the ability to successfully manage various deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Weekly review of employee time reports for accuracy and integrity of client billing, and preparation of these reports for management/partner review
- Preparation of a variety of operational reports and ensuring their accuracy
- Maintenance of the Client Service Management database (VohCom), including processing of invoices and payments, engagement integrity management, and client records of contact
- Facilitate monthly meetings with Partners and Managers, moving report management towards actionable next steps
- Train and mentor new and current employees on navigation of the CSM database
- Accounts Receivable and related client accounts management
- Monthly reconciliations of engagements and other administrative bookkeeping accounts
- IT onboarding for new employees, including set up of user accounts and configuration of computer/program settings
- Internal IT support, including software troubleshooting, software and other technology rollouts, and liaison with external IT support
- Maintain equipment records and research new equipment or software, as required, for purchase
- Various administrative support to the administration team, Managers and Partners, as required
Qualifications
- Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma in administration, accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative accounting role (CPA firm experience is not necessary, but considered an asset)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel; working knowledge of Caseware, Sage50 considered an asset

- Experience as an accounting clerk or in a similar role within accounting or finance administration.
Working environment
- An in-office position, with the potential for occasional remote work
- Located in downtown London, Ontario, with covered parking available, along many major bus routes
- There is the potential of lifting up to 30lbs, and extended periods of seated desk work
