The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles, as well as proficiency in various accounting software. Responsibilities - Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance on best practices and professional development. - Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. - Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations. - Conduct account reconciliations and account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions. - Assist in budgeting processes and financial forecasting to support strategic planning. - Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation. - Prepare reports for senior management engage in the decisions to manage business challenges and opportunities Experience - Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role within the retail or manufacturing sectors - Proficiency in Quickbooks and Excel - 4+ years' of bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, budgeting, payroll processes, and financial reporting. - Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial documentation. - Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. - Strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders across the organization.
