- Description:KBE Engineer - Knowledge Based Engineer (KBE). Responsibilities include creating CAD (Catia/NX) parametric math models for commodities using Knowledge Based Engineering template modeling techniques. Position requires extensive knowledge of Catia/NX modeling and an extensive background developing / packaging / synthesizing complex vehicle systems. Additional responsibilities include dictating architecture and construction techniques, creating master development / packaging / requirement sections, defining master template modeling structures, and training other Catia/NX engineers on modeling techniques, architecture.
- Requirements:
***HYBRID ROLE. Occasional trips to the US for meetings (1-2 times per month on average). Trips to Brampton and Mexico for plant support as needed.***
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Mechanical).
- 5+ Years of CAD modeling with Siemens NX
- 5+ Years of Robust Modeling with Siemens NX
- 5+ Years of Parametric CAD Modeling with Siemens NX
- 5+ Years of Body in White (Automotive) Engineering Experience
- Strong English Speaking skills
- Strong Engineering Design Project Presentation skills required
- Vehicle or component launch experience (in-plant)
Preferred Requirements:
- 7+ Years of Body in White and/or Closures CAD Engineering experience.
- 7+ years of body experience
- 7+ Years of CAD Parametric Modeling with Seimens NX
