Barrie Ford is currently seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to join our leadership team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership.

Purpose/Summary of Position:

This role is responsible for the overall performance and profitability of the Vehicle Sales department. This Management role is responsible for ongoing planning and collaboration with other department leaders; executing on objectives, goals and growth strategies; ensuring compliance with process and procedures; motivating and coaching team members for performance; improving efficiencies; driving sales and championing the customer experience.

Key Accountabilities & Objectives

  • Maintain a high Customer Service Experience index score
  • Satisfy customer complaints by following established concern resolution processes
  • Maintain a positive OEM relationship
  • Create a customer focus environment, work with the sales team to network with potential clients, ensure all customers inquires and questions are responded to in a timely manner
  • Develop merchandizing strategies, assist in creating an effective, cost-efficient advertising program
  • Ensure customer referral follow up system is in place
  • Desking as per established schedule
  • Champion of Ford Pass performance, reporting and processes
  • Contribute and present in weekly sales meetings
  • Contribute to monthly refresh program circulation, reader board refresh
  • Mange online properties and responses i.e. Facebook, Instagram

Candidates must possess:

  • Unrestricted OMVIC license & dealership approval
  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • Post-Secondary Education Preferred
  • Experience in the automotive industry Preferred
  • Previous Retail/Automotive Dealership Experience Required
