Altis Recruitment is grateful to partner with our Broader Public Sector client to support the recruitment of a Search Engine Optimization Writer for a 1 year contract, working in a hybrid capacity .
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify valuable keywords with strong search potential, integrating them seamlessly into digital content.
- Produce, refine, and enhance written material for web use—ranging from feature stories and instructional content to promotional pages and customer success pieces.
- Skilled in both credited and anonymous writing, as well as improving existing content to increase visibility in search results.
- Design and execute strategies focused on improving online visibility and boosting unpaid website traffic.
- Work closely with marketing teams to ensure content supports broader campaign objectives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of content through analytics and search performance tools to spot growth opportunities.
- Maintain awareness of evolving SEO methodologies, updates to search algorithms, and industry developments.
- Craft engaging, brand-aligned messaging that reflects the company's voice and standards.
Role Requirements:
- Demonstrated background with 4+ years creating content optimized for search.
- Strong of written communication skills.
- Proficiency in platforms like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- A degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a similar area is a plus.
- Reliability clearance required.
