About the Role
We are seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented Vice President of Sales & Operations to spearhead our client's commercial and operational strategies in their new lighting division. This is a great opportunity for an experienced leader who excels in lighting sales, has a strong executive presence, and is skilled in managing logistics, especially international manufacturing and supply chains.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies focused on increasing revenue, expanding market presence, and acquiring new customers.
- Lead and mentor the sales team, establishing clear objectives and promoting a culture of achievement.
- Oversee all operational aspects, including order fulfillment, inventory, and logistics, with a focus on efficiency and cost reduction.
- Partner with overseas manufacturers to ensure timely production, quality, and efficient shipping.
- Collaborate with internal teams and leverage lighting industry knowledge to inform strategy and stay ahead of market trends.
Qualifications
- 7-10+ years of executive-level sales experience, ideally within the lighting or building materials sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in operations and logistics, including managing international supply chains and manufacturing relationships.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of driving high performance across teams.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and analytical capabilities.
- Proven ability to succeed in a dynamic and rapidly expanding environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
