- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, service vehicles, and heavy machinery used in explosive production and delivery.
- Ensure efficient and safe operation of all assigned machinery.
- Diagnose issues, conduct functional tests, and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
- Address mechanical issues on visiting company vehicles to ensure road safety.
- Respond to mechanical emergencies to maintain smooth operations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Diploma in heavy vehicle or diesel mechanics or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in heavy vehicle or machinery mechanics.
- Valid "G" driver's license (Class D is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, DEF systems, and vehicle A/C.
- MVIS certification is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive with a sense of initiative.
- Detail-oriented and organized with good priority management.
