Job Responsibilities: As a Field Utility Locator, your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Collecting field data using electromagnetic locating equipment, ground penetrating radar, and GPS collection systems, along with their accessories
- Reviewing project sheets and conducting safety site inspections
- Reading, interpreting, and annotating maps
- Maintaining inventory and ensuring safe storage of equipment
- Creating digital locate sketches
- Photographing various locates
- Adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Under Pressure Inc.'s Policies and Procedures
- Performing any other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Field Utility Locator
- Possession of a clean Driver's License (G License)
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time
- Capability to lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions independently
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective time management abilities
