About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join a high-performing team responsible for the design, delivery, and execution of integrated IT solutions supporting the launch and optimization of new technologies and services.

You'll play a key leadership role in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams—including IT, network, operations, and product subject-matter experts—to deliver scalable and secure solutions. Your primary focus will be on performance management, reporting, service quality delivery, and business flow analytics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end architecture and solution design of complex IT systems supporting service introduction and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define architectures, and align solutions with business objectives.
  • Oversee projects focused on performance measurement, reporting, and service quality improvement.
  • Drive investigations into business flow anomalies across provisioning, dispatch, and network systems, identifying root causes and recommending enhancements.
  • Contribute to Agile planning cycles, including quarterly PI (Program Increment) planning sessions.
  • Ensure systems are built and maintained according to secure software development practices.
  • Support and guide a team of Application Architects, Business Analysts, and Support Engineers to ensure system reliability and compliance.
  • Provide strategic architectural input to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in IT architecture, systems integration, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering complex enterprise IT solutions.
  • Strong background in performance management, data analytics, and reporting platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participating in PI planning.
  • Excellent understanding of secure software development life cycles (SDLC).
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root-cause analysis of system anomalies.
  • Knowledge of provisioning, dispatch, and network operational systems is an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • Type of job: Temporary Contractor – 1 year with the possibility to extend
  • Work hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
  • Location: Ottawa, ON
