A growing and reputable mechanical construction company based in Vancouver is seeking a hands-on, organized, and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy office that supports field and project teams.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing many hats, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to play a key role in keeping the business running smoothly.

What Youll Be Responsible For:
  • Managing the day-to-day office administration, including supplies, vendor management, and facility needs

  • Acting as the main point of contact for internal office coordination, ensuring things run efficiently and smoothly

  • Providing administrative support to the leadership and project teams, including scheduling, documentation, and basic reporting

  • Assisting with basic HR tasks such as maintaining employee records and onboarding support

  • Overseeing and supporting dispatch operations, ensuring that field technicians are scheduled effectively and equipped for the day
  • Collaborating with project managers to help align technician availability with job timelines

  • Liaising with external partners (payroll, insurance, service providers) as needed

  • Helping with document control, filing systems, and data entry

Youll Be a Great Fit If You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative, office coordination, or office manager role

  • A strong understanding of the mechanical or construction industry, including field service operations and dispatch workflows

  • Experience supporting a team of field technicians, with an ability to prioritize scheduling, manage incoming requests, and adjust plans on the fly

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills you like keeping everything in order

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general comfort with digital systems

  • A positive attitude and professional communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative you see what needs to be done and make it happen

  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
