Equality Street is hiring a Salesforce Solutions Architect for a 1-year contract engagement supporting a transformative public sector project in Ontario. The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions, with a strong focus on Public Sector Solutions, Omnistudio, and cloud integration. This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on technical expertise, and outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
Contract Duration: 1 Year with an immediate start and possibility of extension.
Location: must reside in Ontario, Canada (local candidates only)
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and deliver innovative Salesforce solutions that meet business, functional, and technical requirements, aligned with government project goals.
- Lead end-to-end solution design across Salesforce products: Experience Cloud, Service Cloud Voice, Omnistudio, Vlocity, and LWC.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and client stakeholders to gather and refine requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Ensure Salesforce solutions adhere to best practices for security, scalability, integration, and data governance.
- Act as a subject matter expert in Salesforce platform capabilities, recommending design and implementation approaches.
- Design and lead the implementation of Omnistudio FlexCards, OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, and guided experiences.
- Integrate Salesforce with third-party platforms, internal APIs, and legacy systems as needed.
- Support data migration strategy and ensure successful integration and synchronization of data across platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams; review code and solution design for quality assurance.
- Create architectural documentation including diagrams, workflows, and technical specifications.
- Participate in sprint planning, technical reviews, and stakeholder presentations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with government IT standards, accessibility guidelines, and privacy legislation (e.g., FIPPA).
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience working on Salesforce platform with a strong record of technical solution design and architecture.
- At least 5 years of Salesforce experience with organizations based in Ontario, Canada (required).
- Hands-on expertise in:
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Vlocity (Industries)
- Omnistudio (FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors)
- Experience Cloud
- Service Cloud and Service Cloud Voice
- Strong experience with Public Sector Solutions is highly desirable and will be prioritized.
- Proven track record delivering complex, enterprise-level implementations in public or regulated sectors.
- Proficient in Salesforce DevOps practices, CI/CD, and source control tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket, Copado).
- Experience with data modeling, integration patterns, API management, and Salesforce security models.
- Salesforce certifications strongly preferred (e.g., Salesforce Certified Application Architect, System Architect, OmniStudio Consultant, Platform Developer II).
- Strong documentation skills and the ability to explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.
- Must be currently residing in Ontario, and legally eligible to work in Canada.
