Who we need
Reporting to the General Manager, Industrial Monitoring Systems, we are looking for a dynamic and seasoned Sales Executive, Industrial Monitoring Systems to accelerate our North American sales efforts with industrial enterprise customers. As our new Enterprise Sales Executive, you will be focused on selling a family of batteryless, wireless sensing solutions that enables completely battery-less and always-on IoT systems. Powered entirely by micro-renewable energy, these solutions eliminate the need for battery maintenance and open up scalable, continuous monitoring across industrial environments.
You will lead and execute both direct and channel sales initiatives. You will navigate complex B2B sales cycles (9–12 months) through key stages: qualification, discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, proof of concept, and close. You will play a critical role in managing this process, sustaining momentum, and delivering measurable ROI to decision-makers focused on energy conservation, such as Energy Efficiency, Maintenance, and Reliability Managers.
The position offers hybrid flexibility, with the expectation to work onsite at our Oakville, ON headquarters as needed. Travel across North America will be required, up to 50% of the time.

- Increase revenue and market presence. You will secure multiple high-value annual contracts with new clients, directly contributing to our strategic growth across North America.
- Own the entire sales cycle. You will manage the full sales process—from identifying and qualifying leads to delivering product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and closing deals that drive measurable impact.
- Build lasting client relationships. You will cultivate new business connections while leveraging existing relationships to sustain a strong pipeline. You will develop long-term partnerships with key stakeholders by delivering tailored solutions and expert guidance.
- Leverage industry expertise to sell a proven product. You will apply your deep understanding of manufacturing operations and digital transformation to identify client pain points and position Shoplogix's IIoT solutions as a competitive edge. You will present clear, quantifiable business cases illustrating how our product reduces energy consumption and associated costs.
- Collaborate for success. You will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Development teams to ensure seamless implementation and high customer satisfaction. Your field insights will shape our solutions and strengthen our market position.
You will bring:
- The sales drive. You have a proven record of closing enterprise deals for complex products (SaaS or other “as-a-Service” solutions), consistently surpassing sales targets in the manufacturing or technology space. You excel in consultative solution selling and are known for your commitment to winning, retaining, and growing customers. You come equipped with a robust network of contacts gained through years of selling to industrial clients and channel partners.
- The consultative approach. Your exceptional verbal and written communication skills enable you to engage prospects, ask insightful questions, and uncover business needs. You address customer concerns with well-crafted solutions grounded in a solid understanding of products, industry trends, IIoT, and the demand for connected devices, real-time data, and smart infrastructure. You grasp technical concepts quickly and translate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders. You articulate features in the context of customer priorities, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and long-term partner.
- The accountability. You thrive in a fast-moving, disruptive technology environment. You are effective with minimal oversight, managing shifting priorities while keeping meetings, presentations, and client interactions on track. You take full ownership of your responsibilities, seek feedback, and collaborate with internal teams to drive outcomes. You are proactive and resourceful, adapting to ambiguity and crafting solutions in evolving contexts.
- The flexibility. You possess a valid passport and are able to travel across North America up to 50% of the time.
