Sales Representative – Cleaning Services

Job Summary:

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling our cleaning services to businesses in the Calgary area. You will identify potential clients, build relationships, and close deals while maintaining strong connections with existing customers. This role requires a dynamic individual with both a hunter mentality to pursue new opportunities and a farmer mindset to nurture long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation:
    • Identify and target potential clients through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
    • Research companies in the Calgary area to understand their cleaning needs.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Conduct on-site visits to businesses for consultations and presentations of our cleaning services.
    • Build rapport with decision-makers such as facility managers, office managers, or business owners.
  • Sales Process Management:
    • Prepare customized proposals, quotes, and service agreements tailored to client needs.
    • Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed monthly targets.
  • Account Management:
    • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries or concerns, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Market Awareness:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions in the cleaning sector.
    • Provide feedback to management on customer needs and service improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in B2B sales (experience in selling services is preferred).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for client visits.
