A Proudfoot Delivery Lead is an artist, a scientist, and a statesman. This role provides the opportunity to take your body of work in industry and/or consulting and apply it all to drive extraordinary results and outcomes. “Transformation through people” means working on engagements that change the trajectory of people's lives, their work, and the results of their organization. The Delivery Lead role is a critical leadership role; directly engaging and leading client and engagement teams, coaching, developing, and mentoring the team members on those engagements to ensure our teams consistently deliver engagement goals and projected benefits. The Delivery Lead collaborates and works internally and externally with all stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and development of a trusted business advisor relationship with C-suite executives. The Delivery Lead supports the end-to-end client lifecycle from initial client engagement, through business review, crafting bespoke engagement approaches, implementing successful engagements, and ultimately generating results that create competitive advantage.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to identify value creation opportunities for clients including early stage. relationship, shaping tailored statements of work, and framing client value propositions.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with client C-suite executives to lead clients through a transformation journey to address their business issues and challenges, turning their operation into a competitive advantage.
  • Delivering the identified outcomes to the client, this is the Proudfoot value proposition
  • Personally, coaching and supporting Client Leadership to achieve engagement objectives on time and on budget.
  • Leading, Coaching and supporting Client leadership and management to accelerate client adoption and usage of Management systems, behaviors, and work methods
  • Managing client engagements to maximize team member's effectiveness and outcomes achieved
  • Professional and consistent communication with the client Executive and Management teams regarding engagement status, benefits, opportunities, and next steps.
  • Developing and conducting Proudfoot training to team members
  • Building long term relationships with clients to enhance engagement opportunities
  • Ensuring the client engagements achieve agreed benefit realization, value creation, ROI, and the achievement of results and outcomes
  • Lead with integrity and demonstrate behaviors that contribute to innovation and a performance culture.
  • Foster a high-performance team culture, reinforcing teamwork and the need for ongoing development and learning
  • Lead Engagement Leaders and team members to ensure execution of Proudfoot engagement processes in accordance with PROUDFOOT methodology appropriately tailored for client/industry.

Experience/Education

  • Bachelor's degree in management, operations management, supply chain, engineering, logistics, program management, business, or relevant field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant business leadership experience including 5+ years of consulting services.
  • Prior experience identifying opportunities, supporting account development and growth.
  • Experience with leading and driving complex operational implementation transformation engagements in a customer environment where change management is critical to success.

Skills, Experience, And Abilities

  • Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
  • Leadership of business performance improvement, re-engineering, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and analytical skills with a result orientation
  • Proven project management skills in large scale performance improvement consulting with measurable results achieved.
  • Natural Resources, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Process Engineering experience.
  • Mining (underground & open pit) experience a plus
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including some weekend and international locations
  • Typically, 4 days a week on client sites working closely with clients and leading Proudfoot teams.
  • Stakeholder management and engagement skills across multiple industries
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Able to coach and influence executive / senior client teams
  • Have a passion for developing junior Proudfoot resources
  • Skilled in qualifying the business from a service perspective including determining client service needs, estimating scope and resources, and developing work stream plans.
  • Ability to develop and ensure successful execution of complex, multi-faceted strategy/implementation including change management in different organizational cultures.
  • Outstanding written and oral communications, facilitation, and presentation skills. Proven ability to communicate positively, directly and with impact to all levels.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate the team and the client to act with a sense of urgency and take action to achieve the engagement and solve complex business issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to develop, sustain and proactively manage value-added client relationships.
  • Proven capability to proactively manage and resolve conflict as it arises.
