You've got the funnel-whispering chops of a seasoned marketer and the ship-it mindset of a product builder—perhaps you've even launched a product or startup of your own (success or failure doesn't matter, as long as you learned). Now, you're itching to craft a holistic growth strategy for a thriving fintech organization from the ground up. You're not afraid of AI, experimentation, or diving deep into analytics; in fact, you thrive on turning raw data and wild ideas into tangible, ROI-driven outcomes.

We're not here to market for marketing's sake. We want a product-first thinker who loves marketing—someone who naturally starts with the user journey, obsesses over friction points, and invents creative, high-leverage solutions with tools like automation and rapid testing. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy brainstorming with your team to achieve common objectives. You'll have the freedom to pursue any platform or medium so long as it contributes to positive ROI and pushes our business forward. You'll take ownership of driving traffic, reducing friction across the funnel, and continuously improving conversion rates for both new and existing users. And you won't be doing it alone: you'll work closely with our product and engineering teams, shaping Perch's future and ensuring every experiment has a clear objective, a data-backed approach, and a needle-moving impact on the business.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead a from-scratch growth strategy: Oversee campaigns and core marketing activities across any channel (social, paid, etc.)—no restrictions, as long as there's a positive return on investment (ROI). Think of yourself as the funnel whisperer and content placement extraordinaire, taking ideas from inception to execution.
  • Drive measurable traffic & conversions: Increase traffic to Perch and continuously monitor how it performs across the entire funnel. Identify friction points for new and existing users (including partnerships and repeat clients), then optimize or prioritize based on data-driven insights.
  • Design and run experiments: Develop clear hypotheses, goal parameters, and KPIs for each experiment—focusing on tangible, needle-moving outcomes. Pivot or scale based on what the data tells you.
  • Leverage automation & AI: Implement initiatives using Segment, Intercom, Mixpanel, and other tools. Explore AI-powered workflows and rapidly test new strategies and technologies to streamline onboarding, reduce user friction, and amplify your impact.
  • Collaborate with product & engineering: Work hand in hand with the team to integrate growth levers—like in-app messaging, event tracking, or feature-based triggers—directly into the product.
  • Own end-to-end accountability: You'll have the resources to experiment, but you're expected to deliver results. Each campaign, workflow, or experiment should have a clear ROI objective. You're not here to inflate vanity metrics, you're here to drive real business outcomes.
  • Adapt & evolve: As Perch grows, this role will shift and expand. Be ready to embrace new tools, pivot when needed, and continuously iterate on your strategies.
  • Scale through others: If you need additional firepower, you can loop in external contractors or collaborators (content, creative, or performance experts) to support your vision.
