Position: Junior Infrastructure Engineer

Hourly Wage: $30.00 CAD / hr

We are hiring a Junior Infrastructure Engineer for a fixed-term 3 months employment contractopportunity who is ideally

based in Saint John, NB. Jr. Infrastructure Engineer will be assistingwith tasks like installing and configuring software,

supporting servers and networks, andensuring system security and uptime. They also help with troubleshooting issues and providingtechnical support.

Responsibilities:
VMware administration
Implement necessary security changes on datacenter hardware
Perform switch patching.
Conduct router patching.
Execute firewall patching.
Implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) on all security devices.
Establish centralized authentications for all devices.
Set up centralized logging for all devices.
Customer firewall migrations
Manage and monitor firewall operations and administration.
Oversee VPN configuration and management.
Administer VMware environments and ensure optimal performance.
Perform OS administration tasks and updates.
Monitor and manage disk space to ensure efficient storage utilization.
DR Administration
PBX/VOIP Administration

To be an ideal candidate you bring:
Proven track record of managing and retaining client accounts

Post-secondary education
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
Ability to offer insight, compassion and analysis of stakeholder needs, as well as buildtrusted relationships.
Passion for exceeding client expectations.
Working technical knowledge of complex hosting and cloud architectures.
Must be flexible to accommodate after-hours requirements and urgent client issues.
Exceptional organizational, planning and time management skills.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Thrive in a fast paced, change-oriented environment.
