In the role of Occupational Therapist, you will provide assessment and treatment services to clients. Our referral sources include auto insurers, LTD carriers, WSIB and solicitors.
Your assessment skills include experience with ADL's, attendant care, housekeeping and identification of appropriate assistive aids/devices. Experience completing physical demands analysis and functional capacity evaluations would be an asset.
Treatment includes the delivery of functional and/or cognitive remediation programs with clients, in their home, school or work environment. Interaction with other healthcare professionals, focused on client recovery, is an integral component of the position.
You demonstrate highly developed negotiation and communication skills, a passion for delivering quality services and a therapeutic practice that reflects both organizational abilities and creativity. Your superior outcomes are achieved through skilled assessments, focused treatment and the development of motivated client relationships.
A vehicle and personal computer are necessary requirements. Travel throughout Southwestern Ontario is a component of the position.
