Digital Health, a division of Shared Health, is leading the transformation of healthcare delivery across Manitoba through innovative information and communication technology solutions. The goal of this project is to support the advancement of healthcare services across the province by improving digital processes, data workflows, and service delivery models in a clinical environment.

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with deep experience in the healthcare sector to join the Digital Shared Services initiative. This is a remote role, though all work must be performed within Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document current and future state business processes and identify capability gaps.

• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and workshops with clinical stakeholders.

• Perform detailed journey mapping to assess service delivery experiences and identify areas for improvement.

• Conduct analysis on service provisioning in healthcare settings, using data and workflow insights to make recommendations.

• Model, analyze, and improve business processes, especially those related to operational and pharmacy service delivery in a healthcare environment.

• Lead teams of business analysts, determining deliverables and planning team activities.

• Support analysis related to Provincial Electronic Patient Record implementations across domains such as diagnostics, cardiology, neurology, pharmacy, and orders.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) Valid certification required.

• PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner Certification Valid certification required.

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Business Administration.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a business analysis role within project environments.

• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare, including collaboration with clinical stakeholders.

• Experience applying journey mapping techniques to improve patient or customer experience.

• Deep knowledge of healthcare service provisioning, supported by 4 years of relevant experience.

• Demonstrated expertise in business process modelling and improvement, especially involving pharmacy services.

• Proven leadership experience managing business analysis teams.

• At least 2 years supporting Provincial Electronic Patient Record projects across multiple healthcare domains.
