Role Overview:

We seek a driven Lighting Sales Executive who thrives on excellence and innovation. This role reports directly to the SVP of Sales and is designed to harness the skills and experience of a seasoned sales professional, capable of both management and tactical execution. This role is pivotal for both customer acquisition and revenue growth, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of the industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assume full sales management responsibility for assigned territories and accounts.
  • Deliver sales programs, services, and activities, emphasizing value creation.
  • Develop, expand, and maintain account sales networks and pipelines.
  • Strategically establish and nurture key relationships within the territory.
  • Execute in alignment with the company's sales plan and overarching objectives.
  • Influence decision-makers through every sales phase, from prospecting to post-sales.
  • Champion the company's reputation, fostering positive relationships with existing customers.
  • Liaise with product development to ensure the viability of proposed solutions.
  • Identify and act upon new sales avenues, leveraging diverse prospecting techniques.
  • Promptly follow up on incoming sales leads.
  • Analyze and interpret specifications to recommend suitable products.
  • Participate in and oversee account budgeting and sales quotas.
  • Address and navigate sensitive customer service concerns, offering expertise in all areas of order fulfillment.
  • Recognize areas for improvement and strategize effective solutions within the existing business model.
  • Undertake other duties as they arise.

Compensation:

· We provide a base salary, which will fall into a range depending on your experience, and a commission structure beyond a sales threshold.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience and training are also considered.
  • At least 3 years of in-depth experience in sales strategy, planning, and implementation.
  • Proven success in meeting quotas, seeding accounts, and finalizing sizeable deals.
  • Ability to represent the company professionally across diverse business platforms.
  • Stellar communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Autonomy in daily operations, with the capacity to operate under minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to undertake domestic travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Lighting Sales or sales within the retail millwork industry is highly beneficial.
