We are looking for a Millwright to join our Maintenance team. You will assist in a various duties involving the installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment. We will provide hands-on experience, mentorship, and a stable long-term career for you if you have the desire to grow and advance your career as a millwright.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on all industrial and custom machinery and equipment, such as pumps, fans, ovens and conveyors according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
- Install, troubleshoot, align, and disassemble all machinery and equipment.
- Inspect and examine equipment to identify irregularities and malfunctions.
- Adjust equipment and repair/replace defective components.
- Support technician to ensure smooth operation of the equipment.
- Assemble custom battery manufacturing equipment designed by internal engineering team, including mechanical assembly, frames, fixtures, pneumatics, hydraulics, and hi-vacuum.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize equipment safety, efficiency and reliability.
- Complete Work Orders according to maintenance schedule.
- Complete paperwork as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Red Seal Millwright certification preferred.
- Stick and TIG welding would be considered an asset.
- Experience working on commercial or industrial sites.
- Able to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics, and detailed repair drawings related to construction equipment and machinery.
- Self-motivated, driven and work focused with emphasis on safe working procedures.
- Be familiar with and practice safe and efficient interaction with machinery and equipment.
- An aptitude for equipment dismantling and repair.
