As the company expands its Canadian team and strengthens its presence across the Americas, they are looking for a Business Development Director focused on healthcare to drive growth and build strategic relationships. In this critical role, you will lead go-to-market strategies, identify opportunities to deliver transformative digital solutions, and act as a strategic advisor to both internal teams and external clients, bringing deep sector knowledge and a consultative approach to healthcare leaders.
This is a hybrid position based out of their office in Toronto, ON.

How you will make an impact:
- Lead business development strategy. You will own and execute the growth strategy for the healthcare sector in the Americas – identifying high-potential opportunities, building the pipeline, and expanding our customer base.
- Act as a strategic advisor. You will take a consultative approach to understanding client needs, translating those needs into tailored digital solutions that drive measurable results and align with long-term priorities.
- Drive commercial success. You will lead deal structuring, contract negotiation, and financial forecasting – ensuring proposals are profitable, scalable, and strategically sound.
- Develop meaningful partnerships. You will build relationships with healthcare decision-makers, technology partners, and the broader health tech ecosystem to extend reach and unlock new value.
- Collaborate cross-functionally. You will partner with delivery, marketing, and solution teams to create compelling proposals, shape offerings, and enable successful implementations.
- Mentor and inspire. You will contribute to a high-performance culture by sharing insights, supporting team development, and elevating the business development function across the region.
What You Bring:
- Healthcare sector experience. You've successfully sold digital services to healthcare providers, public sector health organizations, or research institutions. You understand the complexity of the space and can navigate C-level discussions with confidence.
- Proven sales performance. You have a strong track record of securing multi-million-dollar contracts, building and managing a sustainable pipeline, and consistently exceeding growth targets.
- Technical fluency. You can comfortably discuss digital solutions, cloud services, data, and AI with both business and technical stakeholders, articulating their value clearly and persuasively.
- Leadership and collaboration. You bring strong interpersonal skills, an inclusive leadership style, and a natural ability to build trust across internal and external teams.
- Strategic mindset. You see the big picture and connect the dots – aligning client needs with company goals, and turning insight into action.
