Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced procurement strategies to enhance organizational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee the procurement department, managing the team and facilitating their professional development.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction through effective negotiation and strategic partnerships with suppliers.
- Conduct thorough supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure successful and beneficial partnerships.
- Implement performance metrics and KPIs to monitor procurement processes and outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and ethical procurement practices.
- Stay informed of industry trends and innovations to continuously improve procurement functions.
- Collaborate with various departments to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's or Professional certification preferred).
- A minimum of 10 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful procurement strategies that drive business results.
- Strong background in supplier negotiation, relationship management, and contract development.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in managing and mentoring procurement teams to achieve high performance.
- Proficient in procurement systems and technological solutions.
- Adept at analyzing data and making informed decisions based on market trends and insights.
