Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives that align with overall business goals.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of supply chain processes to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and marketing, to ensure alignment on strategic objectives.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels while ensuring quality standards.
- Oversee risk management strategies related to supply chain disruptions and establish contingency plans.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to leverage new technologies and methodologies in supply chain management.
- Mentor and develop supply chain team members, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on strategy development and execution.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with supply chain technologies and software solutions.
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is desirable.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
