Responsibilities

• Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.
  
• This includes developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, maintaining and compiling data-driven programs.
  

Skills:

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

The Resources will act as a Subject Matter Experts on a variety of cloud and AI projects initiatives such as:

• Enabling and designing the Government of Ontario's clouds: Azure, AWS, IBM, Oracle and GCP.
  
• Designing and configuring advance security for existing and new cloud providers.
  
• Assist with complex setup of public cloud providers creating reusable patterns.
  
• Assist in updating and creating provisioning pipelines for the Government Cloud offerings by writing and maintaining a provisioning codebase for infrastructure delivery, as well as gathering and reporting data.
  

Cloud Knowledge and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in enabling and designing the Government of Ontario's cloud environments, Azure, AWS, IBM, Oracle, and Google Cloud.
  
• This experience must be with Cloud environments that are of the same scale as the Government of Ontario's Cloud or BPS environments.
  

Communications and Customer Service:

• Demonstrated experience in working with customers/key stakeholders and using communication skills to resolve operational issues, negotiate or document process related intelligence.
  

Analysis and Problem-Solving

• Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving Azure/AWS/IBM/GCP/Oracle Cloud environments' incidents and working with vendor partners.
  

Must Haves:

• Proven ability to work with complex SQL queries, potentially hundreds or thousands of lines in length
  
• Proficiency with Power BI and DAX
  
• Demonstrated experience in Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Storage, ADF, Azure Analysis Service
  
• Create highly dynamic visualizations and metrics using Power BI
  
• Design and develop BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements
  
• Implement, maintain, and support BI solutions in Microsoft and other BI platforms
  
• Experience with cloud platform like Azure and working knowledge for cloud migration
  
• Experience with Microsoft Azure data analytics tools, such as, Azure Data Factories, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse
  

Nice to Have:

• Prior public sector experience would be an asset
