Salary:

Were looking for a dynamic and technically strong Build/Release/DevOps Engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys leading projects that drive operational excellence. In this role, youll not only work hands-on with cutting-edge infrastructure and automation tools but also serve as a key liaison between development, operations, and support teams.

This is a contractual hybrid role for a period of6 months, with the potential for extension. The candidate must work from the Toronto office 3 days/ week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage DevOps projects from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support seamless builds, testing, and deployments.
  • Develop and maintain scripts in Linux, Active Directory, and Ansible to automate tasks and system configurations.
  • Configure and maintain SSO (Single Sign-On) integrations and ensure secure authentication across platforms.
  • Manage Kubernetes (K8s) environments, including Helm chart scripting and deployments.
  • Work closely with ServiceNow teams to support backend development and integration workflows.
  • Maintain and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Build/Release/DevOps engineering role.
  • Proven experience leading technical projects and mentoring junior team members.
  • Expertise in Linux scripting (Shell, Bash, etc.).
  • Strong experience with Active Directory scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
  • Hands-on experience with SSO configuration (e.g., SAML, OAuth, LDAP).
  • Solid background in Kubernetes and Helm scripting for deployments and configurations.
  • Proficiency with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
  • Experience working on ServiceNow backend workflows and integrations.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
