The Opportunity

The Associate Developer is responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining front-end user interfaces. This individual will focus primary on front end with HTML, however, experience with C# and .Net are valuable for growth into a full stack developer. Software developers contribute to their teams success through the effective execution of engineering processes and best practices and continuously improving their own skillset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test web applications using HTML, CSS, C#, .NET, JavaScript, SQL, and other related tools.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with senior developers, product managers, designers, and clients to understand requirements and deliver secure, scalable, and performant solutions
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications and provide technical support.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and standards.
• Design and write test automation scripts to maintain a healthy application.
• Stay up to date with the new technologies, frameworks, and industry trends. Share this knowledge with team members.
• Become knowledgeable with our software products including the benefits and business proposition they provide to our customers.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to stay productive while working either independently or as part of team projects.
• Demonstrate commitment to our core values and team environment.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1+ years building and shipping production web applications.
• Earned minimum of associate degree (bachelor preferred) in Computer Science, Software Development, or equivalent.
• Must be open to learning from feedback given in code reviews and taking direction from more senior developers.
• Tuned into web security (you can explain XSRF and SQL injection).

Location
This position will be hybrid with 3 days/week in our Oakville, ON office.
