We're currently seeking a Licensed Millwright (433A) for an immediate, full-time, permanent opportunity with a fast-growing manufacturing company in the Barrie, Ontario area. • Rotating shifts: Days (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) and Afternoons (1:30 PM – 10:00 PM), alternating every 2 weeks

What you'll be doing:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and replace components of industrial machinery such as bucket elevators, screw conveyors, pumps, fans, kilns, and ball mills
• Interpret schematics, manuals, diagrams, and technical instructions to identify and resolve mechanical issues
• Perform light fabrication, rigging, and welding; complete sketches or drawings when needed
• Conduct preventative maintenance including cleaning, lubrication, and calibration
• Support additional maintenance tasks as required

What we're looking for:

• 433A Red Seal Millwright license with a valid Certificate of Qualification and Certificate of Apprenticeship
• Previous experience in a heavy industrial environment is strongly preferred (cement or mining industries are a plus)
• Proficient with rigging and ARC stick welding
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and compressors; working knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, and electrical systems is an asset
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, and work with PPE including respirators, at heights, and in confined spaces
• Physically fit – comfortable walking up and down stairs frequently
• Tech-savvy with good problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
• Flexible to work on-site 5 days a week and rotate between day and afternoon shifts
