- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications in detail
- Develop accurate, competitive cost estimates across all scopes of work
- Prepare RFIs and flag contractual concerns for review
- Select subcontractors and vendors; issue clear scopes and RFQs
- Perform quantity take-offs and explore value engineering solutions
- Work with manufacturer pricing tools and estimating software
- Organize and present final proposal packages for internal and client review
- Maintain estimating documentation and a reliable cost history database
- Collaborate with project teams to support handoff and execution
- Build and maintain strong trade and vendor relationships
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating
- Candidates with 8–10+ years of experience are strongly encouraged to apply, especially those with leadership potential
- General contracting experience is essential
- Strong knowledge across civil, concrete, mechanical, and electrical scopes
- Familiarity with steel buildings and/or tilt-up concrete projects is an asset
- Proficiency in estimating tools and CAD platforms preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Must be based in the Lower Mainland, BC and available for occasional in-person collaboration in Surrey
