As a Business Development Assistant, you will be a key revenue driver for a growing department, partnering closely across business functions to foster commercial & operational success. You will need to be passionate about delivering tailored, results-focused solutions across different client asks for end-to-end support.

Benefiting from confident stakeholder management, you will need to have a strong commercial acumen with a solutions-oriented and sales-driven mindset to capture & convert project requests and working closely with our commercial team and surveys operations department. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a direct impact on the success of proSapient, and that of our clients. This role is best suited to an individual with around a years experience in a client facing role.

The key duties of this role will include:

  • Manage the end-to-end RFP process, from initial request through to final submission that highlights proSapient's capabilities and solutions.
  • Partnering with leading Management Consulting and Private Equity clients, building relationships and creating an open line of trusted communication.
  • Engaging and maintaining relationships with our survey product users; introducing and educating them on proSapient's value proposition and driving the client lifecycle from new user to evangelist with a focus on client retention and service excellence.
  • Collaborating and negotiating with external vendors to provide comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, including recommendations for successful project execution, and putting together commercially compelling RfPs that match client needs and help proSapient achieve it's revenue goals
  • Thinking critically to capture client needs, and putting together a case-by-case specific proposal matching our internal & external capabilities to drive conversion rates and commercial success
  • Assist in the creation of pricing strategies, seeking our cross-selling opportunities, and driving upselling to maximize revenue opportunities
  • Partnering with the Programming & Project Management team to ensure a seamless client service that delivers on set expectations.
  • Conducting kick off calls with users to ensure project scope is feasible and aligns with client expectations and then conducting feedback calls once the project has completed with users to ensure satisfaction and identify any areas for improvement, and to drive repeat business.
  • Identifying opportunities within those existing accounts and gathering referrals/ testimonials and leads to pass on to the wider commercial team.
  • Working in partnership with, and coaching, our Client Services department on our survey services value proposition and working closely with them to cross selling proSapient suite of products & services.
  • Developing a sound understanding of market trends, competitors, and industry challenges opportunities to maximise revenue opportunities
  • Maintaining continuous dialogue with all stakeholders including the Product team to continuously innovate our products.

Requirements

Key experience needed for this role includes:

  • Previous experience (around one year) working in a client relationship or account management position is essential for this role
  • Previous experience working with large scale, multi departmental and complex clients is essential for this role (experience within consulting or PE firms is a bonus!)
  • Previous experience managing the end to end RFP process is required for this role
