Role: Health and Safety Coordinator
Location: Windsor, Ontario (onsite)

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Occupational Health and Safety Certificate.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in health and safety coordination within a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of safe work practices, policies, and legislation.
- Experience with disability management, accident investigations, workplace inspections, and job hazard analysis.
- Ability to interpret and apply legislation, Codes of Practice, and industry safety bulletins.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility and strong partnerships at all levels.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong sense of urgency, with a track record of meeting deadlines and delivering results.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct hazard assessments and ergonomic evaluations to ensure safe work procedures are in place.
Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, providing effective resolutions and conducting follow-up training for supervisors and employees.
Collect, analyze, and report first aid and WSIB incident/injury statistics.
Stay up to date with amendments to the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA) and related regulations, recommending and implementing necessary changes.
