Role: Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in a timely and accurate manner.
- Analyze plant performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide actionable insights to leadership.
2. Cost Management
- Oversee standard costing processes, inventory valuation, and cost variance analysis.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while ensuring accurate product and material costing.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide recommendations for improvement.
4. Internal Controls & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to corporate financial policies and procedures.
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Coordinate with external auditors and oversee compliance audits.
5. Business Partnering & Leadership
- Work closely with plant leadership to drive financial performance and support strategic initiatives.
- Provide financial guidance on capital investments, cost optimization, and business case development.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Required).
CPA/CMA designation (Preferred).
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, GAAP, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably EPICOR) and advanced Excel skills.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
