The Junior Project Manager (Jr PM) handles managing project buying, ensuring order accuracy, and providing vendor support for all assigned projects. The Jr PM will also take ownership of specific projects from start to finish as assigned by the Project Manager, ensuring project goals are met while fostering client relationships and adhering to Farmboys operational standards. The role includes order processing and supporting vendor communications as necessary.
What you do:
- Ensure the commercial targets of the project are met, responsible for management of both team hours and all project costs to achieve target margins. Monitor team hours, own responsibility for scope management, set clear expectations with team & client.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis. Set expectations clearly, supporting with client communication flow and documentation and tracking of that communication.
- Organize and ensure the correct flow of appropriate client information and references to the team, ensure accurate tracking of project data and context in associated systems.
- Coordinate delivery of work and ensure all project processes are consistent with and support established goals, objectives, and policies.
- Ensure projects are executed within appropriate budgets and within the required schedules.
How you do it:
- Ramp up project set-up in Farmboy systems incl. but not limited to project & opportunity codes and applicable briefing documentation.
- Manage purchases, prepare orders and resolve any issues
- Review specification packages ensuring correct documentation and package accuracy.
- Create client quotes while maintaining appropriate tier margins.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and fabricators including quoting, sampling, and VE exercises.
- Process purchase orders, including RFI handling, margin reviews, and production proof checks.
- Manage client expectations effectively regarding Farmboy process, lead times, allocated project hours and creative packages.
- Specification design & development, providing VE & creative product solutions.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet the quality, cost, and time requirements.
- Actively participate in daily team meetings, and other company meetings as necessary.
- All other duties as required and assigned.

- 1-3 years of experience in project administration or coordination
- Proficiency in project management methodologies
- A process-driven mindset with a high attention to detail
- Strong time and resource management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with a collaborative approach
- Exceptional organizational skills
