As a Business Systems Administrator, a typical week might include the following:
- Providing primary support for SOLV4EX business applications and associated subsystems, including but not limited to, NetSuite.
- Ensuring system compliance with company policies, procedures and protocols for system standards, customizations, and changes.
- Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date systems and process documentation.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for systems support, administration, and improvements for SOLV4EX business applications and associated subsystems, including but not limited to, NetSuite.
- Providing support to internal and external users and assist in the effective and efficient resolution of issues.
- Assisting in the development and support of business systems workflows, forms, dashboards, document customizations and third-party applications integrations.
- Working as a team member with other technical staff to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems.
- Collaborating across multiple departments to develop effective solutions that result in efficiency gains.
- Evaluating business requirements, translate into functional and system requirements that meet those needs, and assist with implementing solutions in NetSuite or other business application.
- Analyzing and evaluate present and proposed business procedures or problems to define data processing needs.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, involved in project development and/or implementation, to prioritize associated tasks and contribute technical support to business objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a technical diploma, plus five (5) years of related experience OR a combination of education and/or suitable work experience.
- Create detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories.
- Three (3) years of experience supporting and providing administration of Oracle NetSuite ERP.
- Experience with EDI and EDI platforms.
- Excellent organization, planning and prioritizing skills.
- Proactive approach to problems and issues.
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
- Comfortable with collaboration, open communication, and teamwork.
- Proven experience taking ownership of a solution from design to deployment.
- Previous experience defining database requirements and activities for application development.
- Ability to perform objective analysis and re-engineering of business processes to maximize quality service and cost-effectiveness.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the existing automated business applications, their relationships to each other and interfaces to outside systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Finance/Accounting processes.
- Familiar with relational databases and SQL
- Understanding of Business Intelligence dashboards
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development lifecycle. Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation.
