As a Partnership Manager at Symend, you'll drive revenue growth by managing existing partnerships and building a robust referral network. You'll focus on expanding our market reach in key verticals, generating sales qualified opportunities (SQOs) and boosting revenue.
This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment to critically analyze Symend's offering to design an ideal partner profile and build a plan to initiate, manage and enable those relationships.
You'll have the unique opportunity to establish Symend's partner ecosystem as you play a pivotal role in building our referral partner network and managing our top tier existing partners.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Revenue Generation and Partner Relations
- Drive revenue growth by building the partner ecosystem from scratch
- Prospect for strategic partnerships to access new markets and enhance Symend's global footprint
- Communicate Symend's platform value to partners, increasing brand awareness and revenue streams
- Develop pipeline growth and co-selling opportunities through sales presentations with Sales and Partner teams
- Build and scale a referral partner program across core verticals in North America
- Generate SQOs through the referral network, supporting Account Executives in revenue conversion
- Develop new revenue streams through Strategic Alliances, focusing on core banking platforms and tech aggregators
- Manage existing referral partner consultants in North America and the UK
- Represent Symend at relevant events and speaking engagements
- Manage partner-led thought leadership events from planning to execution
- Support deal contracting requirements (Partner Agreements, SOW, MSA)
- Coordinate with internal teams for approvals and sustainable deal frameworks
Education:
Degree in business technology management, IT, or related field
Experience:
- Experience in partner channel sales, delivering revenue-generating SQOs
- Proven track record in building and managing referral partner programs
- Experience with Microsoft partnerships is an asset
- Project management skills for event coordination
- Enterprise sales experience preferred
- Enterprise Growth Catalyst: Drive revenue growth through co-selling and strategic partner engagement, delivering SQOs to the Enterprise Sales Team
- Relationship Architect: Own building and and nurturing referral networks across North America and the UK, partnering with leading consulting firms, strategic alliances, and tech aggregators.
- Entrepreneurial Trailblazer: Identify and seize new market opportunities with a proactive, self-starting mindset.
- Industry Visionary: Leverage deep understanding of Telecom, Financial Institutions, and Energy/Utilities to drive strategic partnerships.
- Strategic Event Orchestrator: Plan and execute impactful thought leadership events and public speaking engagements.
- Technical Ambassador: Serve as a commercial and technical SME, articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences.

- Frequent cross-border and local travel to client sites and events
- May be required to work additional hours for special program events or critical delivery dates
- Indirect management of North American and UK referral partners.
