With a sizable retail store, “grab and go” café, and West Coast inspired full-service restaurant, there is never a dull day at this beautiful tourist destination. We are looking for a Chef de Partie motivated by a passion for food and personal and professional growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to a culinary experience of the highest quality, consistency, and creativity.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and the daily preparation of meals from pre-determined menus, ensuring the food quality and presentation meets our dining standards.
- Assist with menu creation, budget control and development of new ideas.
- Provide instruction to the kitchen team and monitor kitchen service levels to ensure Guests' needs are met.
- Estimate daily production needs on a weekly basis and communicate production needs to kitchen personnel daily.
- Prepare and cooks food of all types, either on a regular basis or for special Guests or functions.
- Assist in determining how food should be presented and creates decorative food displays.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
- Recognize superior quality products, presentations, and flavor.
- Follow proper handling and correct temperature of all food products.
- Operate and maintains all department equipment and reports malfunctions.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in culinary roles.
- Red Seal and Food Safe Level 2 Certified (this is a must)
- You THRIVE in a fast paced environment and can multi-task with ease.
- You lead with a positive attitude, outgoing personality, and bring energy and enthusiasm to work every day!

Considerations:
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business
- While performing the duties of this position, team members are required to be on their feet for extended periods of time
- Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
- Occasionally required to lift and climb a step ladder or step stool
Wage: $26.50 - $28.00
