Primary Focus:

• Understanding of drawings
  Fabricate fan motor bases.
  Installation of shipping blocks.
  Monitor inventory of fan/blower parts required per installation.
  Filling out quality control documents required for each unit completed.
• Communication with supervisor for any concerns on materials and/or tools required.
• Troubleshooting of potential design issues.
• Service/repair of potential warranty work and per customer requests for repairs.
• Installation of springs and isolators for balancing of motor and blower.
• Alignment of motors/fans with sheaves and pulleys for proper belt installation.

Specific Accountabilities:

• Read schematics, blueprints and other technical diagrams.
• Ability to use power tools such is drills and grinders, and hand tools.
  Welding is an asset

• It is very important that the incumbent of this position is able to work and communicate with prudence, while effectively managing time, completing tasks, and working safely.
• Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required (e.g. safety glasses, safety boots, ear protection, etc.).
• Regularly works near moving parts.
• Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
• Noise levels can fluctuate from quiet to loud.
• May work in tight spaces
• Hazards associated with the industry.

Education and Experience:

• 2+ years previous experience as an assembler, construction, welding, Metal is preferred.
