- Apply industrial coatings using spray, brush, or roller methods per project specifications
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or abrasive blasting
- Mix and apply coatings following manufacturer guidelines
- Ensure coatings meet industry standards using specialized tools (e.g., DFT gauges)
- Inspect finished surfaces for quality and durability
- Maintain and clean coating equipment
- Follow strict safety guidelines, including handling hazardous materials and PPE usage
- Work in various industrial settings, including confined spaces and at heights
- Accurately complete activity reports per client and company requirements
- Experience in industrial painting or coatings application
- Knowledge of different coating types (epoxy, polyurethane, zinc, etc.)
- Proficiency in using spray guns, brushes, and other application tools
- Familiarity with industrial safety procedures
- Experience with plural pump spray systems (an asset)
- Certification in industrial coatings (NACE, SSPC) is a plus
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments
