Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Centreville,NS
Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am start time.
Pay Rate: $18.00-$20.00/hr

Advantage Personnel is currently recruiting for a Forlift Operator role on behalf of our client in Centreville, Nova Scotia. Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for a dynamic opportunity that combines operating a forklift with various general labour tasks? This could be the role for you!
Job Responsibilities:
• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production area.
• Perform visual inspections of the forklift and complete pre-shift checks to ensure its proper functioning.
• Assist in receiving and storing incoming materials and supplies.
• Prepare orders for shipment by picking and packing products.
• Support the production team by performing various labour tasks such as stacking, sorting, and organizing materials.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma is required.
• Mechanical skills would be considered an asset.
• Strong computer skills considered an asset.
• Forklift experience an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail in all areas of work.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to work efficiently as part of a team and be reliable.
Requirements:
• Must follow all company GMP's and SOP's.
• Must be able to bend, twist and turn.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Observe and follow the sanitation standards set in the Plant's policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
