Healthcare Product G Class Delivery Driver – Full timePay: $21.00 hourlyShifts: Monday- FridayStart time: 5:30 a.m. start (8-hour shift)Location: Ottawa, ON, near East end Industrial Sector We're hiring a full-time G Class Delivery Driver with verifiable 5-ton truck experience to work for one of the largest healthcare transportation companies in the country. The successful candidate will apply their skills and professionalism to help maintain the highest quality standards that the company is known for. Within this position, you will be responsible for loading and unloading your truck as well as completing multiple deliveries each day. Familiarity with the City of Ottawa and Surrounding areas is a strong asset. Responsibilities:· Drive a 20 – 26-foot straight truck to deliver healthcare products to assigned stops.· 30 to 50 deliveries per day· Use a handheld device to scan documents and freight.· Load and Unload products in proper sequence with the use of a Dolley and or pallet truck (lift/carry up to 70lbs.)· Complete any necessary paperwork accurately.· Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection.· Report on all safety hazards and accidents.· Use a cellular phone to communicate with dispatch - while adhering to all safety laws· Provide excellent customer service & build strong client relationships.· Adhere to safety and compliance regulations.· Additional duties as required/Requested.
Requirements:· Abstract Printed within last 30 days.· Valid G class or Class 5 license· 1 Year of verifiable G Driving Commercial experience driving a 20 – 26-foot straight truck · CSA Approved Steel-toed for safety· Criminal Record check may be required as part of the onboarding process.
