Talkatoo is modernizing the veterinary workflow, focused on reducing time spent on medical records. We are a fast-growing, funded startup working with industry-leading partners. Our platform is available on mobile, desktop, and web, delivering help directly where the veterinarians need it most.

We are looking for an experienced Vue developer to join our Webapp team, bringing an advanced understanding of Javascript and building SPAs. The ideal candidate can take designs and requirements and implement them elegantly with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, structured and disciplined code.
• Actively engage in code reviews with other developers.
• Follow a customer-first approach to building software.
• Work closely with other development and operations team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into production-grade systems.
• Participate in the complete life-cycle of product features: inception, design, development, deployment, observation, optimization.
• Proven ability to investigate software-related issues and be a general problem solver.
• With your expertise with customer centric web apps, participate in product planning meetings and help make decisions that will guide the product.
• Be curious and driven to embrace, learn, and apply new technologies and tools.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience with the Vue Framework.
• Strong skills with JavaScript (ES6+), CSS, and HTML.
• Tailwind CSS experience is a plus.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming.
• Knowledge of API development over HTTP, websockets, and/or gRPC.
• Experience with versioning control methodology and tools.
