Wildstone is a General Contractor currently recruiting for a 3rd-4th Year Plumbing Apprentice with experience on commercial projects and water treatment plants to join our team! Travel is required for this position.
You'll travel for work to locations throughout BC, the Yukon and occasionally the Northwest Territories. Our crews typically work 21/7 rotations, travel in and out of various locations, work 10-hour shifts on average, and enjoy the comforts of home in well-maintained crew houses.

In this role, you'll work independently, collaborate with skilled trades people, and support our Journeyperson Plumbers as you learn the trade. Here's what you can expect to be working on - Water Treatment Plants, Energy projects, new multi-residential builds, and commercial builds.
What you will experience day to day:
- Build, assemble, install, repair, and maintain mechanical systems.
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Layout equipment and pipe routes.
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, solder, groove, crimp, and glue piping systems.
- Ensure proper tools for job are assembled at the work site.
- Understand proper installation methods of pipe systems and related equipment.
- Proper care and handling of equipment used on site.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Take direction from Journeyperson Plumber.
What we're looking for:
- A registered as a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice with commercial and Industrial construction experience
- Experience working on renovations and modifications on commercial projects
- Experience with hydronic systems and mechanical/boiler rooms
- Youre dependable and youre a self-starter you show up to work on time and get the job done.
- You work hard to build and maintain successful work relationships.
- Safety is not an afterthought you have a history of working safely and looking out for the safety of the crew on site.
- You must have or be willing to obtain the following tickets: Fall Protection, WHMIS 2015, Elevated Work Platform, and Level 1 First Aid
